Brewing Tips

Coffee and Water Ratios:
Aeropress: For this you'll want a fine grind on your beans. You'll use 17g of coffee (about 2 1/2 Tablespoons), and either fill your Aeropress to the No. 4 with water or use 220g if you measure it out.
French Press: For a French Press you'll want a coarse grind on your beans. Measure out 56g (about 8 Tablespoons). Fill your french press about half way up with water. Wait 1 min and break the top layer (aka the crust) gently stir your coffee. After the crust is broken you will fill the press up the rest of the way with water.
Espresso: We recommend using a super fine grind, if you have us grind your beans let us know what you use it for and we can grind it to that specification. For your shots you will use about 18-21g of coffee.
Pour Over: Measure out 18-21g of finely ground coffee and put it into your pour over. Pour your boiling water over your ground beans just enough to cover the grounds. Once your coffee blooms (about 15 seconds after you pour in the water) continue to slowly add more water filling it up. Let sit for about 2-3 mins and then enjoy.
